Veggie Fit Kids- Started by Dr. Yami Cazorla-Lancaster, a pediatrician, wellness coach and Food for Life Instructor. She practices out of Nourish Wellness in Yakima, WA.

Dr Caldwell Esselstyn, Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease The leader in reversing heart disease, Dr. Esselstyn led a 20 year study with patients who were named "the walking dead", who suffered from severe heart disease, yet every patient lived to not have another heart episode once following a whole food plant based diet. This site is full of recources, education, and encouraging stories of healing.

Forks Over Knives-  This is a well organized site that offers lots of amazing recipes, free seminars, cooking guides, beginner tips , meal planners and guides. Also check out their app as we use this a lot and its easy to pull up a grocery list and find recipes quickly!

Dr. John McDougall-  Dr. John McDougall has so many wonderful resources on his page and most importantly the success stories are just incredible! They even have them organized by categories like blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, arthritis etc.

the book "The China Study"

The China Study-  For more than 40 years, T. Colin Campbell, PhD, has been at the forefront of nutrition research. His legacy, the China Study, is the most comprehensive study of health and nutrition ever conducted. Dr. Campbell is the Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University. He has received more than 70 grant years of peer-reviewed research funding and authored more than 300 research papers. The China Study was the culmination of a 20 year partnership of Cornell University, Oxford University and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine.

Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease: The Revolutionary, Scientifically Proven, Nutrition Based Cure-  Dr. Esselstyn was a researcher and clinician at the Cleveland Clinic for more than thirty-five years. In 1991, he served as the president of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and organized the first National Conference on the Elimination of Heart Disease. In 2005, he became the first recipient of the Benjamin Spock Award for Compassion in Medicine. Dr. Esselstyn and his wife, Ann Crile Esselstyn, have followed a plant-based diet for more than twenty years. They work  together to counsel patients in Cleveland and at the farm in upstate New York where Dr. Esselstyn grew up.

 Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes: The Scientifically Proven System for Reversing Diabetes Without Drugs- A wonderful overall look on reversing diabetes and lowering blood sugars. This was a great start for us and even though we did need to move onto Mastering Diabetes ( to the left), it is a great start in learning more about what really is the cause of raising blood sugars  and the complications from it. It will surprise you!

Fantastic meals that don't have tons of ingredients and THE best dairy free ranch recipe out there! The "eggrolls" are amazing!
