I'm Back — And I Have Some News!

If you've been coming to see me for a while, you already know that what we do here goes a little deeper than the average checkup. I ask about what your family eats. We talk about sleep, stress, and movement. I care about the whole picture — because that's what actually drives health.
I've taken a little break from writing, but I'm back — and I have something worth sharing.

A New Chapter: One-on-One Lifestyle Medicine Visits for Adults
I'm now seeing adult patients for one-on-one lifestyle medicine visits. If you're dealing with chronic conditions — things like high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, fatigue, or just a nagging feeling that something could be better — I want you to know there's a path forward that doesn't start and end with a prescription.
These visits are designed to look at your health through the lens of lifestyle: what you're eating, how you're sleeping, how much you're moving, and how stress is affecting your body. I'll work with you — not at you — to find changes that are realistic, sustainable, and actually supported by science.
My Pediatric Patients Aren't Going Anywhere
Nothing is changing for the kids and families I already see. I'm still seeing children and teenagers, and I'm still committed to raising the healthiest generation of kids in the Ozarks. The plant-based, lifestyle-forward approach that has always guided this practice is very much alive and well.
Honestly, I think the two things go hand in hand. When parents are taking better care of themselves, kids notice. When families eat and move and sleep as a team, it sticks. Health isn't a solo sport — and it never has been.
What I'll Be Writing About
Over the coming weeks and months, I'm going to write about the things that actually matter for your family's health — without the overwhelm, without the judgment, and without the impossible standards.
You'll find posts about lifestyle medicine basics, plant-based eating (I promise it's not as intimidating as it sounds), sleep, stress, and what the research really says about preventing the chronic diseases that touch so many families today.
If any of this resonates with you — for yourself or someone you love — I'd love to hear from you. Book a visit. Ask a question. Share this with someone who's been looking for a different kind of care.
